The 5Rs of Effective Classroom Management is designed to empower teachers to embrace self-awareness, self-efficacy, and self-discipline as they walk in their assignment to positively impact the lives of young people. Walking into the classroom fully aware of their superpowers gives teachers an advantage by providing five simple strategies to help equip and poise them for success. Only when teachers are aware of their “why”, believe in their gift to teach, and stand in the classroom with a clear plan of action to manage their students will high-quality instructional experiences take place. 

 

Dr. Demars believes students cannot learn in an environment void of structure, systems, and a strategic plan that is executed beginning day one of class. He further expresses the need for all teachers to connect and remain connected to the reason for taking the first step into a classroom.
